Đurđica Aleksić
Đurđica Aleksić was born in Užice in 2004 and began playing the violin at the age of six. She demonstrated exceptional ability while still at primary school and completed the eighth grade through an accelerated programme. She received the Vuk Diploma and graduated from both primary and secondary music school as the top student of her generation.
She has won numerous awards at more than 40 competitions in Serbia and abroad. These include the National Competition for Students of Music and Ballet Schools of Serbia, Stringfest, the International String Competition in Niš, and competitions in Italy, Austria, Slovakia and Cyprus.
In 2020, during the state of emergency and the COVID-19 pandemic, she became one of the first musicians in Serbia to give an online solo recital. She subsequently performed solo recitals at the Gallery of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Guarnerius Centre of Fine Arts, the UK Parobrod cultural centre, the Italian Cultural Institute, Užice City Hall and the Mihailo Milovanović Legacy.
She has appeared at all of Belgrade’s major concert venues and has also performed in Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Montenegro and North Macedonia.
She has attended masterclasses led by distinguished violinists and educators including Dora Schwarzberg, Kirill Troussov, Gilles Apap, Wonji Kim-Ozim, Benjamin Schmid, Oleg Pokhanovski, Yuri and Alexander Revich, Ioana Goicea, Daniel Rumler, Haruka Nagao, Roman Simović, Miranda Liu, Emilio Percan, Jovan Kolundžija, Stefan Milenković, Marko Josifoski and Vesna Stanković.
She has attended ARLEMM since 2019 and collaborated regularly with Professor Milica Mladenović of the School for Musical Talents in Ćuprija throughout her secondary education. She is a member of the Metamorphosis Ensemble.
She has received scholarships from the Evro za Znanje Foundation and the Dositeja Fund for Young Talents of the Republic of Serbia, as well as a national scholarship for exceptionally gifted students.
She is currently a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, where she studies under Professor Marko Josifoski.
Katarina Hadži Antić Tatić
Katarina Hadži Antić Tatić was born in Belgrade, where she received her entire musical education. She graduated from the Piano Department of the Faculty of Music at the University of Arts in Belgrade, where she studied under Professor Jasmina Gavrilović.
Her professional and artistic career is focused on chamber music in various ensembles and collaborative piano performance with instrumental and vocal soloists. She has also gained extensive teaching experience as a professor of piano and chamber music.
Throughout her career, she has collaborated with numerous Serbian and international artists. As a chamber musician, she has performed at concerts throughout Serbia and abroad.
She has appeared at the ARLEM, OKTOH and BUNT festivals, the Vrnjci Classical Music Festival and the Tisa Flower Chamber Music Festival, as well as in a variety of concert series.
She has performed and collaborated continuously with violinist Jelena Rokvić since 2006.
As a collaborative pianist, she has worked at masterclasses led by Marko Josifoski, Ljubomir Mihailović, Aleksandar Pavlović, Dejan Mihajlović, Milica Mladenović, Dragutin Mladenović, Milutin Mladenović, Marina Nenadović, Goran Kostić, Dejan Mlađenović, Aneta Ilić, Lazar Nikolić, Ksenija Janković, Stefan Milenković, Emilio Percan, Leonid Peisakhov, David Takeno and many others.
She has also participated as a collaborative pianist in numerous national and international competitions and has made archival recordings for radio and television.
Since 2000, she has worked at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade as an artistic associate in the Department of String Instruments. In 2019, she was promoted to the position of Senior Artistic Associate.
Her exceptional dedication to working with students and young artists, combined with her extensive experience and numerous concerts and performances alongside them, has contributed to their receiving many significant awards and honours.
Many of her former students and pupils now hold prominent professional and artistic positions in Serbia and abroad.
