Piano Recital by Jelena Nikšić

W. A. Mozart: Piano Sonata in F major, K. 332

L. van Beethoven: Piano Sonata No. 21 in C major, Op. 53

Jelena Nikšić was born in Vršac in 2004. She completed her primary and secondary education in the Piano Department of the Josif Marinković Music School in Vršac, where she studied under Professors Filip Madžunkov and Zorana Fara. She graduated from secondary school in 2023 as the top student of her generation.

That same year, she enrolled in the Piano Department at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, where she studies under Professor Aleksandar Sinčuk.

Alongside her secondary piano studies, she also completed primary music education in solo singing. She is currently a second-year student in the Solo Singing Department of the secondary music school, where she studies under Professor Miljana Radinović.

She has participated in numerous competitions, winning several first and second prizes at national and international events, both as a soloist and as a member of chamber ensembles. Throughout her primary and secondary education, as well as during her university studies, she has performed regularly and enthusiastically at numerous concerts, both as a soloist and as a chamber musician.

She has attended masterclasses given by renowned pianists Sergei Osipenko, Aisa Ijiri, Filip Madžunkov and Aleksandar Serdar.

In October 2023, she took part in the international Aisa & Friends Festival in Florence, where she performed at the festival’s Young Artists Concert and gained valuable concert experience.
